A 4-week series that focuses on tending to grief in the body through restorative and gentle yoga practices.
Sessions will be held each Thursday throughout the month of September (3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th), from 7-8:30pm the first and last Thursdays, and 7-8pm the other two days.
See event details here.
Week 1: Intros, creating intentions/dedications, what to expect and a 45-minute practice
Week 2: 60-minute practice
Week 3: 60-minute practice
Week 4: 45-minute practice, plus closing session (final thoughts, what next/integration)
Why grief yoga? Because grief has a way of making itself at home in our bodies, and oftentimes we carry it without an awareness or understanding of how it may be impacting our lives. Even if we have a relationship with our grief, sometimes its presence can feel overwhelming.
Grief is inevitable, but not impossible.
With focused time and gentle movement, this series is intended to create a space for you meet yourself exactly how you are, and learn ways to become more compassionate towards your grief journey. You are not alone.
No experience required, all bodies welcome.
